12 medjool dates or 1 cup sultanas
1 cup chia seeds
4 tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp vanilla extra or powder
1 tsp cinnamon powder
4 tbsp dark choc chips and/or shredded coconut
Remove pits from dates and pulse dates/sultanas with coconut oil in food processor or blender until forms a paste. Add remaining ingredients and pulse briefly again.
Roll mix into balls, or press into a lined baking dish to later cut into bars, and put in fridge or freezer.
Please note: I didn’t find the bars cut easily or smoothly, nor as easy to eat, however a little quicker than rolling into balls.
